and who bring a wealth of experience and talent to contribute to running a safe, efficient LNG terminal.

Courtney Jones

GENERAL MANAGER OF SAINT JOHN LNG


Courtney Jones is Saint John LNG’s General Manager and a Repsol Director. Courtney assumed this role in summer 2019 and relocated from Repsol’s Calgary, Alberta office during that time.

Courtney has had a diversified career beginning in Atlanta, Georgia as an associate engineer with Conoco’s Refining, Marketing and Transportation group. Through the years she has worked in various downstream, upstream and commercial roles. Prior to joining Repsol, Courtney worked for Conoco, ConocoPhillips and Talisman Energy. Over the years, she and her family have been fortunate to enjoy assignments in North America, Asia and Europe.

Courtney grew up in Oklahoma and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

Laura Rejon

VICE PRESIDENT OF REPSOL ENERGY NORTH AMERICA CORPORATION, HEAD OF REPSOL´S WHOLESALE AND TRADING FOR NATURAL GAS & LNG


Laura Rejon is Head of Repsol´s Wholesale & Trading for Natural Gas and LNG and also serves as VP of Repsol Energy North America Corporation. In this role, she leads Repsol’s natural gas monetization and commercialization business, with an active presence in NA and Europe.

In her 20+ years’ experience in the energy industry, Laura has served in a variety of roles including 3 years of direct exposure to the NA gas business, Finance, Internal Audit, Credit Risk and Investor Relations. She previously led Repsol’s Credit Risk Division with more than 1 million counterparties, and held the position of CFO for Dynasol, a joint venture between Repsol’s Chemical Business and Grupo Kuo in Mexico.

Laura earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Alcala de Henares University in Spain and a Master’s in International Business from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.

Dan Rowe, CPA, CA

Reporting Manager, Gas Trading North America


Dan joined the Repsol group in 2009, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, and Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Prior to joining Repsol, Dan gained financial experience through audit, tax, and financial advisory while articling with Ernst & Young, and later as a manager in the Assurance and Business Advisory practice with Grant Thornton.

During his time with Repsol, Dan has held various management roles within the North America Gas Trading businesses, responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, management reporting, and economic modelling. Dan also acts as a Director for multiple Canadian Repsol entities as well as a local Not for Profit organization.

Dan and his wife Samantha have three children, all active in various sports such as hockey, soccer, and baseball. They also enjoy boating, fishing, hunting, camping and many other outdoor adventures.


Karen Iampen

REPSOL GAS & TRADING NORTH AMERICA – ORIGINATION DIVISION


A 20-year veteran of the energy industry, focusing primarily in trading and origination, Karen Iampen leads Repsol’s Gas & Trading North America – Origination division in Houston, Texas.

Karen previously served as New England Originator for Repsol. She joined Repsol Gas and Power in 2009, just prior to the commissioning of the Saint John LNG facility, beginning her career at the company as an Origination and Regulatory Affairs Manager, focusing on the New England and Eastern Canadian regions. Prior to joining the Repsol Gas and Power team, Karen was the Manager of Logistics at Emera Energy Services, and was involved in the setup and growth of trading operations there from 2002 to 2009.

Karen has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
