Martin Ugarte

GENERAL MANAGER OF SAINT JOHN LNG


Martin Ugarte is Saint John LNG’s General Manager, bringing extensive experience and leadership to the role. Previously, Martin served as Operations Manager of the facility since 2008, playing a crucial role in its start up and development over the years.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the energy sector, Martin has a strong background in operations, process engineering, advanced control and optimization. This expertise allows him to navigate the complexities of the industry effectively and implement strategies that enhance efficiency and performance. Committed to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement, Martin values collaboration and fosters a supportive environment that empowers team members.

Martin’s educational background in engineering and business administration gives a solid foundation for leading the team and achieving the company’s strategic objectives. His family has proudly called the Greater Saint John area home since 2008 and are pleased to be a part of this community.

Jordi Solsona

DIRECTOR WHOLESALE GAS TRADING


Jordi Solsona Magri (Lleida, 1978) is Director of Wholesale Gas Trading and member of the Operations Committee of Industrial DG. Before being appointed in this new position, he has been providing services as Head of Performance and Purchasing to commercial businesses, with competencies in the areas of Mobility, LPG, Electric Mobility, Electricity and Gas Marketing, Energy Solutions and Lubricants and Mobility Mexico.

Jordi joined Repsol in 2002. Throughout his career he has held different functions within the Group's financial area.

Since 2014 he has worked in different businesses of the Group and different countries. Specifically, he worked for three years as Performance and Risk Officer, overseeing the operation of the Wholesale Gas Trading business, based in Houston (end of 2014-2017) and two years as CFO of Repsol's businesses in Mexico (2018-2019).

Jordi Solsona has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and an extraordinary end-of-degree award.

On the other hand, from 2000 to 2002 he studied a Master's Degree in Economics and Finance at the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies of the Bank of Spain (CEMFI).

Dan Rowe, CPA, CA

Reporting Manager, Gas Trading North America


Dan joined the Repsol group in 2009, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University, and Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Prior to joining Repsol, Dan gained financial experience through audit, tax, and financial advisory while articling with Ernst & Young, and later as a manager in the Assurance and Business Advisory practice with Grant Thornton.

During his time with Repsol, Dan has held various management roles within the North America Gas Trading businesses, responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, management reporting, and economic modelling. Dan also acts as a Director for multiple Canadian Repsol entities as well as a local Not for Profit organization.

Dan and his wife Samantha have three children, all active in various sports such as hockey, soccer, and baseball. They also enjoy boating, fishing, hunting, camping and many other outdoor adventures.
